Giving

Why We Give

The example of Jesus demonstrates the power of being generous with our time, our attention, and even our money. Everything we do as a church family, within our community and throughout the world, is possible only because of your generosity.

We are so grateful for you and your generosity towards our church as we work together to inspire people to pursue and find life in Jesus.

In addition to supporting your local community church and the work we do, contributing your resources to is a powerful affirmation of faith in the transformative power of Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, the Apostle Paul states that each of us should give what we have decided in our hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. As Christians, we believe we are commanded to love each other and are grateful for the love that God shows us. See the video below for a powerful testimony concerning the effect of giving on the spiritual lives of a couple:

Giving Online

(Our online giving feature is currently under construction and should be functional no later than December 1st, 2025. In the Interim, we are accepting donation in person and by mail.)

Many of the Church’s members as well as those in the Warner Community use Sugar River Bank, which has been serving New Hampshire residents for over 100 years. Sugar River Bank allows its members to send one time or recurring payments to the United Church of Warner through their online bill pay tool. For more information about using this tool, please click on the button below.

United Church of Warner is pleased to announce that we have implemented online payment processors to streamline the process of contributing to the Church and the missions and service projects we support.

Currently, we can accept donations via the platforms Venmo and Zeffy. Either of these platforms will allow you to contribute to our Church, either on a recurring or one time basis. You as a Donor will not incur fees, if you make your donation by using your debit card or a bank accounts. In this way, your donations can have maximum impact on our Mission.

Venmo is a popular payment processor operated by Paypal that allows easy transfer between individuals, businesses, and Nonprofit organizations like our Church. Venmo does charge United Church of Warner a small fee for donations received, so we respectfully request that donors who wish to contribute on a recurring basis utilize Zeffy so that we minimize the fees incurred in our fundraising efforts.

Zeffy offers nonprofits a platform to platform to raise funds and conduct donation drives for free. You can use your Gmail credentials to login to Zeffy, making the account creation and donation processes easy! Zeffy is supported entirely from ‘tips’ added to Donations (as a flat amount or as a percentage of the donation. The ‘tip’ can be set to $0)

By utilizing Zeffy, we can offer the ability for Donors to contribute to the Church general funds, our Mission Fund, or to specific local causes that we are fundraising for.

If you have any issues with donating online, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Technology Coordinator via email at kelbybh@gmail.com
